Unusually nice Victorian bell pull with beautifully hand done petit point embroidery, the pattern includes birds and shells.
The bell pull has its original brass hardware.
The embroidery measures 5\" wide and the hardware is 7 1/2\" wide. Overall the bell pull is 82\" long.
The background and flowers are all petit point embroidered with fine wool. The birds and shells are very tiny petit point embroidery with finer silk.
It is backed with off white flannel, and once had a silk backing which is now mostly gone.
The condition is very good.
