Extraordinary Vintage Pair of Huldah Cherry Jeffe IMPRESSIONIST Ballerina Prints:

Huldah is an American Impressionist artist who began her career in the 1940s. For her subject matter, she focused on turn-of-the-century women and adolescent girls. Her young ladies are costumed in the fashionable attire of the period, and her style hints of impressionism with a strong Renoir influence. Huldah has had her paintings selected for the Grand Salon of the Salon des Artistes Francais in Paris. Four of her works were purchased by the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.With exquisite use of soft color and matching brush stroke, Huldah portrays a vision of sheer loveliness accented by beautiful eyes, rosy cheeks, and red lips accented by the flowers in her hair and bouquet in her hands.Original frames are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is a small area on one frame that is slightly worn, hardly noticeable (see photo) They each measure 16\" x 20\". The original backing paper has some tears from storage and moving.(see photos)
