I have been a dealer ofantiques for over 30 years and am now starting to sell items from my personalcollection. This is an ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS,top quality brooch made in Europe during the 19th century. Crafted of silver, this treasure depicts a serpent,covered in round turquoise glass cabochon stones, which is wrapped around anoval of paste stones. The genuine pastestones are top quality, beautifully faceted, and extremely sparkly, with a lotof life. The serpent’s eyes are redglass cabochons. It is extremely difficult to find antiquepaste pieces – especially ones with a serpent on it. I’ve never seen another like this one. A very special and rare treasure, indeed –truly one of a kind!!
