An extremely rare Picard Ames one-tube battery radio from the 1920’s. I know of only one other of these besides my two. This is from John Terreys’ sale and it was manufactured in 1922. As I have discovered, this radio had very little advertising in the major radio magazines. This is slightly different from the other one I have. I am not sure which one is closer to the original state. If you like rare sets this is for you. I primarily bought this because I thought it would grease the skids to make the amplifier easier to get so I am hoping to get back what I paid for it.
