Fancy little boudoir

This delightful, antique cloth, LENCI,boudoir or bed doll will fit in a cabinet or the arms of a larger Lenci doll. Measuring about 13 1/2\" tall, she dates between 1924 and 1933 according to the descriptions of this rare (R.P.) series as shown on pages 60-64, \"Lenci, The History and the Dolls\"-Lazenby. As described, she was produced in a small series with one being featured on the Lenci 1924 catalogue. Further description states that \"Unlike other Lenci dolls, her head and neck are molded in one piece.\" Her left arm is bent at the elbow. She has lovely painted, side-glancing eyes with high lights, long eyelashes, brows and a two-tone mouth. Her wig is ina fancy hair style with braids and lots of side curls beneath her felt bonnet with felt ties. She is constructed of flesh color feltwith long, slender limbs with original black felt pointed shoes and many layers of ruffled organdy skirts & petticoats, all edged in pink(including a stiff hoop skirt) and matching long ruffled pantaloons and matching organdy sleeves. She probably originally also has an organdy or taffeta ruffled gown over this. She is in excellent condition with no moth damage, no stains or holes, no fading or odors and is from a smoke free home. Her much larger Lenci sister is not included and listed separately.
