Up for sale is a rare gem of a watch, a super original OMEGA Constellation pie pan. So rare to find one in unrestored condition. The watch looks stunning on the wrist, the bright gold trimmed case along with the beautiful patina/imperfections on the dial makes this watch look spectacular. The case is indecent vintagecondition throughout, showing only the odd imperfection. The gold overlay is in good condition, the watch is 57 years old so will show every day patina/wear. I believe the crystal to be a replacement along with the omega aftermarket strap. The watch was serviced 12-18 months but I have no paper work for this. The watch is running smoothly, I should mention while rotating the hands anti clock wise sometimes the hands slip, so this watch is up for restoration. Overall a charming timepiece and very rare, looks amazing on the wrist .has 551 movt and this to is early and much less common,,,,than the later 556 used , the watch is dated to approx. 1960, in the omega date list,,,,,,,, if you have some skills to service and treat this beauty with some care, could last another 50 yrs,,,,,sold as a collectable vintage watch,,,,, isn\'t perfect but price is realistic /imperfections will be visible its old,,were in no rush to sell may even place back in private collection, very impressive item of horology
