For your consideration is an extremely rare copy of Vol 1 of a mid nineteenth century bookof the New Testament written in Welsh by Albert Barnes. It is bound in leather/ gilt spine.This is a first edition published in 1853. The inside cover displays a fold out map of Palestine.There is some foxing/ toning but interior remains remarkably good for age. The owner haswritten in date/ name on front cover and interestingly also onto the back cover and spine ofthe book where the back spine has come loose (see photo). The back and front cover arestill attached. This book covers Matthew through Luke. Please ask questions if needed.
