A rare authentic Haitian Vodou boutey lwa- a libation bottle.

Made in Haiti,comes from a botanica the capital.Heigth 12 inch. A bottle decorated with sequins, satin, other fabric and a picture of the lwa. Please study photographs for details.

Boutey lwa are mainly used for services to the lwa or sit on the altar containing rum or kleren with herbs specific to the particular lwa.

Provenance: a large collection in Haiti, recently brought to Montreal, Canada. We\'ll be pleased to offer some of the libation bottles on . All the boutey lwa are authentic, made in Haiti for Vodou serviteurs and bought in various botanicas in Port-au-Prince. Most of them are 5-10 years old but show no signs of usage. They apparently were bought new and were sitting in boxes in a storage room.
