Please select the color and type of Engine and Remote that you would like to purchase. All options include an Engine, Coal Tender, and Remote Control.About the size and compatibility:
- Have G Gauge wheel spacing and run on G Gauge Track (please see 2nd picture.)
- Have car couplers like the one shown in the 3rd and 4th picture
- Are 4 inches wide
- All Engines have and on/off switch (twist the bell in front of the engine cab), and will not run if it is not turned on. (Which is a nice battery saving feature.)
- All Engines are 14 inches long and 7-1/2 inches tall and can be operated with or without a remote (by pushing the buttons on the top front of the engine)
- Engines with a 6C Tender are powered by 6 C batteries (not included) that go in the Tender. These Engines must be attached to the Tender in order to run (since the batteries go in the the tender.)
- All the other Engines are powered by 4 C batteries (not included) that go in the cab of the Engine. These Engines can run with or without a Tender (since the batteries go in the Engine), even though they may come with a tender.
- When you push the sound button on the remote, the train bell rings, makes a train chugging sound, the train whistle blows. Then it plays a chorus of Jingle Bells, repeats the train bell, chugging sound & whistle, then plays We Wish You a Merry Christmas, repeats the train bell, chugging sound & whistle, and plays Joy to The World. It then all starts over and repeats until you push the sound button again, which turns the sound off.
- Remote also has a Forward, Stop, and Reverse Button. When you push the applicable button on the remote, the train reacts very nicely and does what it is supposed to.
- Engines run well. The light on the front of the engine comes on automatically when you turn on the train.
- The remotes require one 9 Volt battery (not included) and operate at 27.145 Mhz.
