This is a terrifically sharp vintage carbon steel chef knife. I believe it is quite old based on the logo and style, but has held up well over the years.
I have used this knife a LOT in my own kitchen and it\'s held up very well and stayed extremely sharp. Very easy (and fun) to use. Please note this knife is carbon steel - if you need usage tips, please message me as I\'m happy to discuss. In general, carbon steel means sharper blades and easier sharpening, but it also means the knife can rust if you get it wet and leave it that way. They\'re pretty low maintenance overall.
This is a large knife for its size. Please note the width of the blade and the handle size, relative to blade length, when reviewing the pictures. I personally liked both aspects, but different users have different preferences on these aspects of a knife. I found the width to be good for transferring food to a pan, crushing garlic, etc. and the blade rocks very well and cuts like a razor.

NOTE: Although this knife is already quite sharp and ready to use, I\'m happy to sharpen it for FREE on my waterstones before shipping to you. Please note I\'m not an expert sharpener, which is why I don\'t do this automatically - and I realize many potential buyers would prefer to sharpen it themselves. I do sharpen my own knives though and can put a nice edge on the blade if you like, e.g. if you want to take this straight to the kitchen and start chopping things. Please just message me when buying if this is of interest. There\'s no charge, but it may add a day or two to the handling time.
