FABULOUS “WOODENBARREL” STYLE IMPERIAL RUSSIAN SOLID SILVER TEA GLASS CUP HOLDER c.1875

The Cup holder was created in St PetersburgRussia during the 1875. Made in “wooden barrel” Russian style, design with barrelbody and solid handle. This wonderful very old solid silver. Assaymarks for St. Petersburg Russian silver grade 84 (,875) is in rare goodcondition.

Great maker “JAL” Jorgan Allenius.

The glass holder is solid silver. It is in goodoriginal condition consistent with age. Free from any restoration.

Conditions: In general clean antique and used overall condition despiteits 140 years of age. There is a little light scuffingto the silver in places, and some minor wear to the surface. There is a one ofvery small dent to the interior of cup holder body.
