Want something no one else has? Need a great decorating statement piece? Here it is! I have had this shade for a long time...it is beautiful....all hand painted with watercolors over pen and ink. It is signed by the artist, J.L.Martin. I have a wonderful antique ships lantern lamp that has been 3 way wired in another sale...I think they go very well together but others might feel differently- so I am selling them separately. The shade has four different scenes of ships, water, seagulls....so wonderful! The bottom measures 15 3/4\", the top measures 6\" and the shade is 12\" high. The framing that rests on the lamp is recessed 1/2\" from the top of the shade and has a central eye. The truest color of the shade is in the closeup showing the framing and the one of it on the lamp I have on sale separately. This sale is for the SHADE ONLY. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a tiny smudge by one of the ships....I was going to paint some water over this to disquise it but A. the smudge isn\'t that bad and B. I\'ll do it if you want me to...I am an artist and could do this with great restraint....it wouldn\'t take much. Ask questions...I don\'t do refunds...
