This lovelypiece hasbeautiful hand painted medallions on front and back with assorted courting scenes with garden landscape background. Beautiful gilded chair with Royal Coat of Arms on side panels withfloral design on top. High quality hand painted details and elaborate designs.Thepiece isin very good condition although there is damage to on back finial on top of chair and missingsedan chair carrying poles which we believe would have been wooden (see photos). No other noted flaws.The gilding is excellent.
Has 18th Century Sevres mark on base but possibly is later. Overall, a rare and unique item, possibly one of a kind.
Measures9 1/4\" high,4 1/4\" wide and 4 3/4\" deep.
Weight is2.8 pounds.
