Up for sale with is a fantastic Large Art Deco 14k Yellow Gold and Pearls Brooch Pin. The Brooch is in my opinion of the finest pieces we have listed this week, it just exudes quality and is much finer than my photos show. The Brooch looks to me like a stylized Basket of Flowers with the large Pearls being the Flowers themselves and set on fine Gold stems. The Pearls are all very nicely matched for color and just slightly different sizes. The Gold mounting also features a finely textured design. The Gold itself has a slight pinkish tone to the Yellow Gold that is very pleasing to the eye. The Brooch is a nice larger size for wearing and looks smashing on a blazer, measuring1-3/4 inches tall by1-1/2 inches wide and laying flat it sticks outapprox5/8\'s of aninch. The full Pearls measure approx 5-1/2 to 6-1/2mm across and the Brooch has a total weight of 10.98 grams. I am told this Brooch would have an insurance value of1800 to 2500 dollars, depending on where you had the appraisal done of course, but it will sell to the highest buyer without reserve ! This would make an amazing Birthday, Holiday or Anniversary gift.
