FANTASTIC late 1800s/early 1900s JAPANESE MEIJI CLOISONNE CHARGER HERON CRANE

Presented is a beautiful Japanese Meiji period cloisonne charger. This piece dates to around the late 1800s or early 1900s. The charger features a stylized crane or heron against colorful, waving banners. The background of the center of the charger is black with starry sparkles. The rest of the charger is fantastically done cloisonne in a wide variety of colors. Even the back of the charger is nicely done in a scale design. A beautiful and eye-catching piece, perfect to display on a wall or in a cabinet.

This piece is in great condition. All the enamel and wire is intact on the front. The back has some very minor loss to the side of the foot rim, which is not at all noticeable unless the piece is turned upside down. There are no breaks and no repairs.

The charger is approximately 12 inches in diameter.
