Description

A superb late 19th century French photograph/portrait frame by Eugene Cornu of Paris.

White onyx base with foliate patterned ormolu edges. Rouge marble laid on top, with four champleve enamel decorated roundels in the corners. On a brass backing, engraved \"E. CORNU Brd des ITALIENS 24.\"

A rare and excellent quality piece by a renowned maker!

Condition

Minor chips. One very fine natural crack to the marble. The rouge marble slightly raised at one end: barely noticeable but mentioned for 100% accuracy.

Size

21.5cm length x 18cm width x 2.5cm depth. Weighs 3.25kg.

Returns

In accordance with Distance Selling Regulations, we provide customers with the right to cancel an order within 7 working days of receipt of the goods. You must notify us your intention to do so within this period. Items must be returned in the same state and condition as they were sold in. We recommend you return items using an insured and traceable service, as any liability for loss or damage in transit will be held by the sender. The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return postage. Once the item has been returned, the original purchase price excluding shipping cost will be refunded.
