We are pleased to offer a fine antique Dresden or Meissen porcelain handled tray made in the last half of the 19th century. The base with blue crossed swords mark of Meyers & Son, Dresden, Germany.
Dimensions: Length: 13 1/4\" x 9 1/2\".
Elegant shaped porcelain rectangular tray in 18th century style. The tray shaped in panel design with attched tree branch handles at each side terminating with colorful flowers in high relief. The center is finely hand painted with a hunting scene with hunter and horse acccompanied by dogs in a woodland setting, resting upon a gilt platform with a puce decorated central reserve. The well with pretty flower sprays below the gilt edged rim.
Offered in overall very good condition, with a small nick to the rim (re-touched with gold) and small chips to the relief flowers at handle.
