OUTSTANDING CAUCASIAN AKSTAFA LONG RUG_CIRCA LATE 1800\'s_BEAUTIFUL COLORS_ESTATE FIND. This one measures in at 3.8 x 8.5. Wool on wool with a very low overall pile. Foundation is showing esp. in two of the medallions. There is a crease repair, losses at both ends (barber pole border partially missing), brown oxidation, repairs to double cord selvedge and other small reweaves. Has all natural colors. Has 8 peacocks with 4 medallions and all neatly spaced. In my opinion, it is well worth the restoration or show off just like it is for the next 50 years!
