This is one of two great early Eskimo feast spoons we\'re currently offering . #1 A very rare Ethnographically used Yupik Eskimo carved wooden feast spoon dating from the 19th Century. The spoon measures 8\" L x 5 1/2\" wide across the bowl and 41/4\" deep. Fine carved tool marks throughout , with a graceful unusual form with a sharp accentuated right angle bend at the bowl. Small knob form end with wear associated with great age and use. The bowl has a great patina and is impregnated with food oils from Ethnographic use. This fine museum quality spoon will make a fine display item and a fine addition to anyone\'s collection.
