The 3 shakers have the maker\'s mark of John Delmestre, London and date marks of 1759, the silver caps to the cut-glass bottles are unmarked (tested sterling) while the stand is also marked for John Delmestre, london but a year of 1765. Warwick style, the irregular flat cinque-foil platform issuing baluster standard with foliate topped shaped loop handle, the five bottle rings and two stopper rings centering between with attached oval cartouche engraved with owners initials of LHJ, enclosed by foliage, all joined by four openwork splayed scalloped feet, fitting a pair and one larger caster, the two bottles with finialed lids. Castor measures 10\" high x 9 1/8\" widest. Silver weight is 1,420 grams excluding the glass bottles. Every piece is in suberb condition, one of the smaller shakers had most of the perforations in the lid sealed with a silver sheet to allow only a desired smaller amount of powder to shake out, presumably salt. That shaker has a small 3/4\" hairline crack on the body, but it does not leak powder. Could be easily soldered by silversmith. Inquire for extra photos. Bottles are believed to be original, glass looks 18th century and fit perfectly. Please email for questions.
