Fine Large Old Northwest Coast Nootka Nuu-chah-nulth Cedar Totem Pole Williams


A fine larger old Northwest Coast Nootka Nuu-chah-nulth hand carved and painted cedar totem pole dating from themid 1900's. The totem features expressiveimagery featuring aseated chief,diving frog, and sea otter at the base. Though the totem is unsigned or unmarked it is certainly by the hand of one of the Williams family of famous carvers.The totem is painted in great old and original paints of red, green, red and black. The totem stands 13" tall with a 2 3/4" x 3" baseand is invery goodoriginal condition with minimal normal paint wear as expected from age and handling.

.The totem makes a great display item and a fine addition to anyone's collection. Please add $9.95 for careful shipping and insurance (USA and Canada). , so have fun offerding!
