A fine large rare old Northwest Coast Tlingitcedar totem pole circa 1900. This is a great early museum quality totem that rarely comes up for sale .The totem features great imagery featuring a Raven, Frog, and a dogfish/shark at the bottom. Note the pierced out sections and wonderful old expertly painted original untouched pigments of yellow, black and blue-green.. The totem stands a respectable 15 3/4\" tall with a base measuring 2 3/4\" x 2 1/4\". The totem is in very good overall condition with some honest minor nicks ,paint fading and wear as expected with age and handling.
