Old Austrianmaster violin - Bernard Enzensperger 1884.

This beautiful violin shows no open cracks or open seams. The table is finely grained spruce and the 1-piece back, as well as ribs and neck, is nicely flamed maple. Like always the instrument has been completely checked by our luthier and by our violin player on playability. In our workshop it received new ebony pegs, new ebony tailpiece, new ebony chinrest, a new bridge and new strings.These are new silver wound steel core strings with good projection, easy to play while allowing rapid performance. We use these strings on mostly all of our violins to provide a comparison of the tonal qualities of each instrument in the videos. In any case a new owner should consider higher quality strings of own personal preference to enhance the full character of this violin!Good old Austrian masterviolin in immediate playing condition - listen to the sound on youtube !Measures aprox.: total 59 cm / 23.2\", body 36 cm / 14.17\", vibratingchord length 33 cm / 13\", weight 430 gr / ~16.9 oz.
