Originatingfrom the Papuan Gulf region of New Guinea, offered is a classic old bullroarer.This artifact was acquired from the John Friede collection and was originally fieldcollected by Thomas Shultze-Westrum in 1966. The bullroarer measures18 inches(46cm.) and dates to the 19th century. The labels and tags were prepared by Thomas Schultze-Westrum in the 1960\'s.
