FINE PAIR 1926 ENGLISH STERLING SILVER OPEN SALT CELLARS by CRICHTON Bros

Presented is a fine quality pair of English sterling silver open salt cellars. These salt cellars were made by the Crichton Brothers, and they date to 1926. The salt cellars are done in a simple yet elegant style, made from thick heavy silver. The salt cellars are raised on three legs. The interior of each cellar has been professionally cleaned and these cellars are absolutely spotless inside and out.

The salts are in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

Each salt cellar is hallmarked on the underside with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard\'s head for the city of London, the date letter L for 1926 and the maker\'s mark for the Crichton Brothers. It is also marked \'Made in England\'.

Each salt cellar is about 1 3/8 inches tall.

The total weight for the pair of salts is 179 grams or 6.3 regular ounces.
