We are pleased to offer thisGRAND (both design and scale) pair of Mid Century (1970s) solid brass, side tables or nightstands. The tables, are not marked, but are of extremely nice quality. Characteristically, the tablesare inmanner of Mastercraft or Guy Lefevre for Maison Jansen. The tablesare commanding in presence and feature oval tops with substantial, squared, column legs. The legs are fluted/reeded, and sitatop squared, stepped bases.Unique, brass \"c\"scroll (half circle) mounts are located on top of eachleg and the oval perimeter tops are attached here. The tables are extremely nice quality and are VERY HEAVY, weighing almost 40lbs each without the glass tops attached. There are fixed bumpers recessed in the brassto cushion the glass. The tables have a crossed, Campaign style stretcher supports. The tables are in very good condition with some, very minor, patina/age spotsin only a couple of areas. The listing is for the bases onlyHOWEVER,we are including theoriginal glass at no additional charge. It is in good condition with some very minor surfacewear.It sits slightly recessed on the top so that it is level with the table perimeter. This is a FABULOUS pair of tables with unique features and exceptional quality.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not normally ship glass as it adds to the shipping costs and most shippers will not insure it. However, the glass is custom fitted to the tops (there is a \"right\" way to fit the tops on...you have to play with it a little) and wefeel it is important to send it with the tables. WE WILL WRAP IT CAREFULLY (please read our response, we do not cut corners on wrapping/shipping) but we cannot insure it.In the unlikely event that the glass is damaged during transit, you will need to use it as a template to havenew glass cut. The size of the glasswould not be expensive to replace, but again, we will wrap very well and we do not anticipate any problems.

The tables measure 23\"tall. They are 27\" wide and20.75\" deep.

Due to the size of the tables, and because we are shipping the glass, we will only ship via GREYHOUND freight for a cost of $150.00. Greyhound is, by far, the most gentle method of transport as they hand carry all packages and do not use conveyor belts or skid loadersto move their packages. You will need to pick up at the station nearest you OR, you can contact Greyhound to arrange a home delivery via their courier service. This service is available in most METRO areas and the fee is generally around $30.00. If you are interested in this service, please let us know before we ship and we can obtain a quote for you and book the service at the time of shipping.
