Description A good quality late 19th century antique Chinese famille-verte porcelain ginger jar and cover, the small jar finely decorated with figures in a continuous landscape scene, interior and base glazed white, the original domed cover painted with a flower and green leaves. Comes with a well-fitted old carved and pierced hardwood stand.
AGE : Chinese, Qing dynasty, circa late 19th century.SIZE : approximately 5 3/4\" (14.5 cm)high with cover; about 9\" (23 cm) on wood stand.CONDITION : jar in perfect condition with minor wear to decoration and a tiny production firing fissure to top rim only; cover has two small glaze hairlines.
