In my estimation it dates from around the mid 19th Century, but please make up your own mind about this.

The oboe measures approx 20 3/4 inches (530mm) long and is made from polished rosewood with nickle keys & fittings.

The keys all have their springs, and move.

A couple of the keys are a little \"sticky\" and some of the pads look as though they ned replacing, so I think it would be safe to assume it will need some attention.

There are no cracks in the rosewood.

The instrument comes in its original mahogany case, which is complete with its key

This is a good quality antique instrument, and it would make a great addition to any collection.
