Up for sale is a fine and rare c.1900 American sterling silver whiskey hip flask. The flask is a top quality example made by the very fine American silversmiths Unger Bros. right around the turn of the last century. The flask features a most interesting heraldic shield repousse design. The flask is in very good condition overall with some minor dents throughout but no cracks or repairs. The top lid is also quite secure with a sturdy hinge and there are no leaks. The flask is also a nice size for carrying or display in a collection measuring 5-3/8 inches tall by 3 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches thick, holding8 U.S. fluid ounces. The flask is also nice thick sterling silver throughout with a quality weight of121 grams. This is a very fine and interesting example!
