This sale is for anABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR, FRANKLIN MINT, DELUXE KING TUT EGYPTIAN THEME, COMPLETE CHESS SET, WITH 24K GOLD PLATED PIECES, AND BEAUTIFUL CHESS BOARD. Wow.....what an awesome chess set, this is! Not only, is this chess set, a beautiful work of art, it is a fully functional chess set. If you have a nice set of checkers, this board will really enhance that game, as well! Thedark woodframe, is in great condition, with the exception of one small nick, on the outer edge, of one side. You can see it, in picture number 4. The picture, actually makes it look worse, than it really is. The play field, is in SUPERB condition. The24K GOLDplaying pieces, are gorgeous, and the pieces come in the original black box, with foam cushioning. These playing pieces are very heavy, and the detailing isSUPERB! The wood framing measures15.5 INCHES SQUARE. The play field has a very nice high luster finish. Each corner of the wood board, is adorned with a24K GOLDstatue. This deluxe chess set, will make a fantastic game table display. This set was discontinued, many years ago, and is getting increasingly more difficult, to find.
