A DIECAST MODEL OF THE ENTERPRISE FROM THE ORIGINAL TV SERIES - STAR TREK - issued in 1991 by THE FRANKLIN MINT - A 25TH ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION - VERY COLLECTIBLE. THE MODEL IS VERY LARGE - APPROXIMATELY 15-16 INCHES LONG. IT FEATURES A GOLD PLATED COMMUNICATIONS DISC, AN OPENING SHUTTLE BAY WITH REMOVABLE \'GALILEO\' SHUTTLE AND A REMOVABLE TOP SECTION TO VIEW THE BRIDGE.
The communications disc is intact - and in excellent condition.
Please note - A peg that holds the ship to the base has broken off and was lost. The ship still sits securely on the base - however it is obviously not as stable, as if there were 2 pegs. There might be a way for BUYER to jury rig and glue an adequate replacement.
