Unless you do embroidery, you probably can\'t imagine the amount of time and patience it takes to produce something like this quilt square. We\'re hoping someone with a bit of imagination can up-cycle the lovely vintage quilt block by framing it, or attaching it to another piece of fabric.
The hand-embroidered cotton fabric piece has an adorable Owl with a Hobo Pouch on a stick. All stitching is done in chain-stitch and satin stitch. The multicolor border is made of french knots.
The quilt piece measures approx. 7 1/2\" wide x 7 1/2\" long. The fabric has been soaked and cleaned, and the back side has been trimmed of all loose threads.
