This set was inspired by the jeweled eggs of Peter Carl Faberge. You will likely never see a set in this fine of condition on again. Does not include COA.Set will be meticulously packaged for shipping.The Faberge Imperial Chess Set showcases the extraordinary work of Igor Carl Faberge. A very heavy set.This is a very rare and long time discontinued item by Franklin Mint. No more of these will ever be created. It is fully handmade. This is a limited edition set - only 1500 made worldwide. Originally sold in 1984 for $4500.00. Sets have been sold for prices ranging from $2000 to over $12,700.Each piece is stamped .925 STERLING SILVER. Finely crafted Jasper, Onyx, and Vermeil Chess Set detailed with precious and semi-precious stoneswith a velvet-lined presentation case and inlaid marble board. King is 2 3/4 inches tall.
