Here is an authentic Imperial Egg made by Faberge to commemorate the New Millenium in 2000. The Egg is a beautiful dark green enamel exquisitly decorated with gold and crystal embellishments. It is a hinged box which, when opened, reveals a dark blue velvet lining nestling a small round gold planet Earth with detailed continents. This sweet little planetary surprise is also a hinged box, also lined with dark blue velvet, and it holds a small pin with three oval cut crystals denoting the zeroes in the number 2000. The stand is a finely detailed gold filagree. The egg, its contents, and the stand are all in mint condition. Everything is housed in a custom dark midnight blue velvet hinged presentation box with a gold closure. It comes with a certificate of authenticity. The box has a few minor external scuffs.
