Fabulous ANTIQUE Very Old ANDREAS VOIT French Type Papier Mache Doll c.1845:

This beautiful doll is OLD dating to around 1845. Her hand-cut eye sockets have delicate painting of eyelashes, and she has \"pierced\" nostrils. This doll has the painted pate with a human hair wig that has been nailed on as you can see from the holes in the top of her head. She is about 24\" tall and is fragile. Her body has had repairs, and it will need more at some point. Her arms, especially around the hands are fragile, and she is leaking sawdust. Likewise, her antique dress and bonnet are frail but relatively stable, especially since her dress is velvet. This old doll has a very pleasant looking face, and a BIG plus in her favor is the fact that she hasn\'t suffered cracking around her original dark eyes. She has no bad odors and is ready to display or to begin her preservation!
