Smaller size, great for a wall quilt!
This quilt has a rich, true red border.
It is hand quilted at 7-9 stitches per inch and has a five chain quilted pattern around the border with some uneven grid work that roughly measures 1/2\" x 3/8\".
It is hand bound.
It measures 65\" x 65\" on one side and 66 on the other side.
This quilt has damage on the silk pieces throughout it but is still very beautiful. About 60% of the pieces have damage. There is some light fading in part of the border and a couple areas on the border that look soiled?, there is a seam opening on the border, there are several pieces that are either completely missing or almost completely missing, there is shredding, tearing, partially missing pieces throughout, and a couple pieces with spotting. (See photos.)
