A magnificent figural inkwell cast from Bronze in the form of a Poodle, beautifully executed with superb detail. Our canine friend is lucky enough to have retained it\'s two little glass eyes.The figure has an integral shell shaped desk tidy to hold pen nibs or the like.The hinged lid opens to reveal a white ceramic ink chamber.Dating to the Victorian era, around 1890.4\" tall.
