Very sweet character toddler doll marked ARW. Here is great opportunity to add a seldom found character doll to your doll collection! Fully marked on the back of her head, with the markings of ARW in a circle. It is believed the ARW stands for the distributor at the time(circa 1900-1910), which was Aldolph Hulss-- a Germany company. Simon & Halbig made their heads. This adorable doll has her original slant hip composition toddler body with starfish hands, with wonderful original finish. Blue glass sleep eyes with remnants of real hair lashes,and upper and lower painted lashes. Open mouth with 2 upper teeth, darling double chin and rosy cheeks. Painted eye brows and tremble tongue. Wonderful condition, with one or two teeny wig pulls up along the crown in back, difficult to photograph. She is wearing her original old cotton teddy that buttons in the lower front, and original chestnut colored mohair wig with pate. So adorable! She measures 12 inches tall.
