I am pleased to have for sale this wonderful royal doulton figurine sweet and twenty. This is the first version of this figure, HN 1298 model 605. Size 6\" ( 15 cm) this exquisite figure was introduced in 1928 and withdrawn in 1969. The figure is in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. A totally lovely straight piece of royal doulton. The title of the figure is taken from the song O MISTRESS MINE! In Shakespeare\'s TWELFTH NIGHT: then come kiss me sweet and twenty. The early versions like this model were made with the fingers on the left hand spread out until 1950. Designed by Leslie harradine this figure is highly collectible.
