this is a beautiful example of a cameo carving of a nymph dancing with a ribbon line, bearing classical dress. the piece has been hand set into the most elegant brooch pin setting made from 9ct gold, in a petal surround intricately engraved & the nice addition of a rope surround detail to the outside of the cameo setting.

on the reverse of the cameo there is a signature which is difficult to read but may be helz
