Up for your consideration is an antique Germanvery Fabulous Kestner Gibson Girldoll.She is an excellent example of this particular mold and the upper class stylish ladies in the early 1900\'s. This lady is so elegant and so classy!

Her German bisque shoulder head is perfect without damage or restoration and has exceptional smooth bisque and fine painting. Her expressive face features tapered eyebrows, glass sleeping eyes, with beautifully painted upper and lower eyelashes. She has a closed mouth, a long neck, an uptilted chin, a brown mohair? wig in Gibson style. Her head is completely unmarked unless it is under the leather on her back but Iwon\'t try to look. Her body is nice and tightly held on to her head. She does have a number 4 on the inside of both her arms.

She is on her original kid body with rivet joints, bisque lower arms. Her undershirt is stitched on and I didn\'t want to remove it so Ishowed as much as I could of the body without removing it. Her body feels very solid. She is beautifully redressed in an antique/vintage long machine and hand stitched skirt. There are a few small spots that are not verynoticeable and one tiny hole. The blouse Ithink is antique, made of gorgeous soft silk with little lace ruffles at the end of the puffy sleeves and neckline, just beautiful. There are acouple of tiny pin holes on the front. She also comes with all beautiful under clothes which may be original(?) She has her original pate. Her wig looks to be hand made and I am not quite sure if its mohair but its so fitting in the Gibson Girlup-dostyle and looks fantastic on her. Her antique leather boots which Ididn\'t take off may be original but need some help as one is coming apart from the sole and the other sole isdisintegrating, they are marked with anumber 5. And of course lets not forget her wonderful hat which looks to be vintage made with lots of lace and flowers.

She can be another favourite to your collection or your top Lady. She really is one fabulous Lady doll.
She stands roughly 20 inches tall.
Her head will be stuffed and she will be very well packed for a safe arrival to her new home.
