This fantastic Russian Santa Claus is hand carved and hand painted by the artist creating this lovely Santa on a traditional Russian brown bear. Santa is a wearing a bright red cloak and has a fat stuffed pack on his shoulder with cute birds painted on it. This Santa is very lightly lacquered so it is easily cleaned and protected. The solid linden wood is dried for almost 2 years before it is carved. (Note: These are not mass produced molded resin from China. All Russian Santas are one of a kind, unique, and hand carved from Linden Wood so no two Santas are ever identical.) This Grandfather Frost, as he is called in Russia, is made in Sergei Posad, Russia. This nicely size Santa measures approximately 6.75 inches tall by 5.5 inches across.
