For your consideration is an outstanding late 19th-to-early-20th Century Dresden Chocolate Pot, decorated with elegant floral sprays, thick gold borders and accents. The form of the Pot is also very appealing, having five lobes that taper towards the top, and nice scalloped Borders. A vibrant Piece. The condition is excellent, and the Gold is 99% intact, only slightly worn at a few high points, and a couple of spots where the lid sits on the Pot (see photos #6,7,8 ). Marked with a crown, and “Dresden 21081”. Also remnants of a red overglaze retailer’s mark. Height: 9 inches. Handle to Spout width: 5 7/8 inches.
