This beautiful watch was purchased years ago, directly from Don Lucas. It is stamped L Feeney forDon Lucas, back when Leo worked for Don before branching out on his own. 4 turquoise clusters of sleeping beautymake up this bracelet style watch with a unique rectangle watch face by Peyote Bird Designs. Small single stones are soldered to each jump ring that connect the clusters together. The turquoise coloration in each cluster varies greatly due to age, some stones have darkened while other have stayed the true sleeping beauty blue. The stones are in good condition with no cracks or chips, and are secure in theirsmall sawtooth bezels.The bracelet measures 7 1/2\"long from the middle of the zig zag stamped ring to the end of the arrow style toggle. Total length of the bracelet is 8\" and each cluster measures 1\"wide. The watch face has a raised glass cover that has a bit of finewear, however is not scratched or cracked. The watch has a new battery and sometimes does not work. I have had the watch looked at by a repair person, however they cannot find anything wrong with it. The seconds hand will get stuck and not move, so I turn the stem a bit and it will start to work again. I have looked into replacing the face, however none that I have found go as well with the bracelet portion as this one, and the way it was soldered would make it difficult to replace, unless you have a silversmith that knows what they are doing, and I have not found one in my area of California.
