This lovely Felma comes with a wide range of strange and powerful electrodes - it should really feature in a Boris Karlof film - or alternatively the ferrari of Violet Wand devices - beautiful and deadly

This particular Felma has been fully restored, with new capacitors, double insulated (internally), new cables and a lovely new case covering. The cotton velvet interior is also new but styled to its original 1931 design with the original electrode clips.

The machine is 85 years old but looks new !!!

Power is controlled by two dials - the upper one controls the buzz - from zero to low to high - the second, the power - from zero to high.

This gives a wide range of sensations from a low buzz (low to medium high power) to a high buzz (low to high power). We even re wound the potentiometer to give you this wider range of sensations - an improvement on the original.

Power controlled by two dials - the upper, marked \"Frequenz\", starts the machine running, and adjusts the frequency (buzz). The lower dial, marked \"Funke\" (spark) operates a rheostat. Using both dials in conjunction gives you the widest possible array of output - from a gentle whisper to something really rather mean. The handpiece features a red button - this stops the sparks. Originally this button was to enable electrodes to be placed on the patient\'s skin without creating a painful spark, although nowdays it enables you to change the electrode without having to alter any of the settings on the main control unit.

Unusually, in the wand handle is a RED button which allows you to stop the sparks while you change electrodes - a feature unique to felma at this time.

Naturally we have fully restored this unit electrically, with new interior insulation, new capacitor, new cables, cable retention, etc.

The tray in the base is removable and there is extra storage space below this.

This device was originally made in 1930 which makes it around 84 years old
