You are looking at a wondeful and somewhat unusual oval painting on canvas and framed in a walnut(?) oval frame that I bought at sale earlier in the year in dthe Burlington, Vermont area.

The subject matter is that of an impressionistic female nude at the seashore or at least outside in pleine aire...as they say. The painting is very much an impressionistic one--vague details but a great overall appearance...I got a ddeal on it at the estate aucti0on and hence you will get a good deal as well..

The painting is 11 x 14 unframed and approximately 13x16 in its original 0val frame. The painting does appear to have been relined at some time in its life and there is also a little inpainting that has been done earlier in its life as well--look on the photos in th upper right hand corner area...hard to see because of dthe dark clouds...
