Fine 18th / 19th C Chinese Export Reticulated Platter w/ Mandarin Characters :

This Chinese export platter is decorated with an exquisitely enameled scene of mandarin character encircled with vibrantly colored butterflies and various flowers. The border is decorated with nice open work, flowers, and butterflies. It is brilliantly highlighted with gold gilt. It dates from the late 18th Century to the early 19th Century and measures approximateltly 1 + ¾ inches high and 10 + 7/8 inches at it‘s widest point. It is in excellent condition with the exception of wear on the gilt and enamel, as can be seen in the photos.
