Item Description

Up for your consideration is an original 19th C. French bronze sculpture byJEAN JULES SALMSON(1823-1902 French). The piece was cast c. 1880s, and depicts a seated female knitting, solid bronze sculpture, signed \"Salmson\" on back leg of chair, approximate height 11 1/4\". It weighs about 10 lbs.

The piece is 11.25\" tall, 9\" wide, and 5.5\" deep.

Overall, the piece is in excellent condition. The knitting needles are not original and appear to be carved of wood and painted. They suit the overall look of the piece and do not distract..
