Inscribed throughout with intricate dancing and running figures, some armed with swords and helmets, nice dark patina to the flat areas of the blade. Mounts are of thin sheathed silver over wood showing lovely smooth black tarnish and expected age wear, never cleaned or touched, pommel missing some sort of small top cover, the grip is of fine and noble material having one age line, nevertheless remaining completely solid and intact with the rest of the sword. Beautiful and profusely decorated example, the inlays on the blade are very heavy, reliefed and of superb quality workmanship.
