This FINE ANTIQUE DEDHAM POTTERY CRAB design plate measures 8.5\" diameter and is a very fine example. The Japanesque CRAB design is a hard to find image on Dedham Pottery. This is a finely decorated example with bold crackle. There are no cracks or repairs. The plate is embellished with the addition of a stylized wave design around the outside of the obverse. It carries the registered blue Dedham Pottery company stamp mark on the reverse. This much desired design has an approximate value of $450.

This is a very fine Arts and Crafts period American Art Pottery item.
